Salty Sea Dogs and Sumptuous Siren Workshop

Nothing like a summer day by the sea.   The sun...the smell of hotdogs, suntan lotion, and cotton candy...the sound of carnival rides whirling up, down and all around...and procession of mermaids and sea-beasties wandering down the Coney Island Boardwalk.  Now that's paradise!  Well believe it or not this briny dream is about to come true.
Michael deMeng and Andrea Matus deMeng are teaming up with Valley Rige Art Studio's Katherine Engen to present: Salty Sea-Dogs and Sumptuous Sirens - an Art-Venture that includes visiting and participation in the famous Mermaid Parade on Coney Island.  This is a combination of site seeing and art-workshop in the ever-entertaining New York, New York.

The Workshop:  Part One
Nautical Oddities and Mermaid Masks with Michael deMeng
It starts off with Mask Making with Michael, where you will concoct a saltwater dwelling persona of your choosing incorporating the methods of assemblage.  Majestic mermaids, crusty crabs, nefarious Neptunes and skittish squids, are but a few of your options.

The Workshop: Part 2
